Pooja shot to fame in the early 90's when she was crowned Miss India in 1993. Her 5' 9"; frame, svelte figure and glamorous looks soon got her prestigious modelling assignments.

She was the first Indian female model for the 'Head & Shoulders' launch in India and has bagged ads for 'Liril Active Gel', 'Parag Sarees' and many more. She went on to scorch the ramps with around 250 national & international shows.

Her latest film is Taj Mahal-An eternal love story in which she plays queen Noorjehan. Taj Mahal was shown at Cannes 2005. She maintains homes in Los Angeles & Mumbai.
