Priyanka Chopra was not the only Bollywood star at the Golden Globes 2020 as Pooja Batra and husband Nawab Shah also marked their presence at the award ceremony. The couple attended the 77th edition of the prestigious awards ceremony and shared several pictures from their red carpet moment and even as they partied with several celebrities.

Pooja and Nawab took to Instagram to post pictures from their Golden Globes outing. The 'Virasat' actress was decked in a high-neck red and blue kurta and shimmering heels while her beau opted for a classic tuxedo. The dapper looking couple treated their Instagram followers with several clicks from Golden Globes 2020.

Pooja and Nawab tied the knot in 2019 in a private ceremony attended by close family and friends. Speaking about the proposal, Nawab had told MensXP in an interview, "I proposed to her in front of my family. It wasn't planned at all and it just happened. It was overwhelming for the two of us. When you know he or she is the right person, you are excited and motivated to live life. I keep telling her that we have less time as we have to grow together and also have babies. We need to travel, we both love reading and writing, and as we say, 'Zindagi chotti hai' so why not do things that we like."

New Delhi: In case you thought Priyanka Chopra was the only Indian celeb to have received an invitation to this year's Golden Globes, you might be wrong. There was a celeb couple who attended the prestigious award ceremony held at the Beverly Hilton on Monday morning. We are talking about actors - Pooja Batra and Nawab Shah. The couple might not have walked the red carpet on the 77th edition of the Golden Globes but they attended the after party and shared glimpses from it on their respective Instagram profiles. For the party, Pooja picked a printed kurta with an extended train and a pair of churidar, while Nawab stuck to the red carpet staple - a black tuxedo.

Over the weekend, Pooja Batra shared a picture of herself dressed in a golden outfit and she captioned it: "Going all golden for the Globes."

Pooja Batra has starred in films such as Kahin Pyaar Na Ho Jaaye, Jodi No 1, Virasat, Bhai and Nayak to name a few. She was last seen in 2017 film Mirror Game. Pooja became a popular face on Indian television after she featured in the Liril soap commercial. She stepped into Bollywood with the 1997 film Vishwavidhaata.

Nawab Shah has featured in several Bollywood films including Musafir, Lakshya, Don 2, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Dilwale.

Zeenat Aman: She was second runners up at the Miss India contest and went on to win the Miss Asia Pacific title in 1970, becoming the first Indian to do so. Post her win she joined Bollywood, working on movies such as Satyam Shivam Sundaram, Dharam Veer and Qurbani. She is considered the original diva of Bollywood.

Juhi Chawla won the Miss India Universe title in 1984 and went on to win the Best National Costume Award at the international competition. She was only 17 years old. Chawla then got into acting, and while she primarily worked in Bollywood projects she also acted in Bengali, Punjabi, Malayalam, Tamil, Kannada and Telugu films. She is the recipient of two Filmfare Awards. She has been praised for her comic timing and charismatic on-screen presence.

Aishwarya Rai needs no introduction at all. She won the Miss World title in 1994. She then ventured into Bollywood, where she met her husband Abhishek Bachchan. But forget being overshadowed by in-laws who are Bollywood loyalty – she has come to be known in her own right as a Bollywood icon.

Jacqueline Fernandez is a Sri Lankan actress, former model, and winner of the Miss Universe Sri Lanka pageant of 2006. She predominantly works in Bollywood. In 2009, she debuted in Bollywood with the movie Aladdin and since then has established a career in the industry.

Meenakshi Seshadri is a former Indian actress, model and dancer who mainly appeared in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu films. She won the Eve's Weekly Miss India contest in 1981 at the age of 17. She was a noted actress and won many an award during her career.

Namrata Shirodkar is an actress, producer and former model known for her works in Bollywood. She was awarded the Femina Miss India in 1993.
